Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Word Unscrambler is committed to making its tool and content usable for as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with clear headings and landmarks.
  • Keyboard-navigable controls with visible focus states.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text and UI elements.
  • Descriptive labels for form inputs and buttons.
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile and desktop screens.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.

Known limitations

The unscrambler tool relies on JavaScript to run in your browser. If JavaScript is disabled, the results grid will not display. All static informational pages (About, Blog, Privacy, Terms, etc.) work without JavaScript.

Report an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us. Email contactus@wordunscramble.uk with the page URL and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

Enforcement

UK users can escalate unresolved accessibility complaints to the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
