Shortest English Words

The shortest playable English words are 2 letters long. There are exactly 107 of them in the standard Scrabble tournament list (TWL); the ENABLE list is close but slightly smaller. These little words are the single biggest edge in Scrabble and Words With Friends — every parallel play uses them, and memorising the 2-letter list is the classic ‘first step to a 300-point average’.
